IT Visions Inc. is off to a good start for 2014. Projects completed or in-progress to date include new website development projects, Search Engine Optimization initiatives and a conversion from Windows XP to Windows 7 for an Attorney’s office. Below is a breakdown of our accomplishments through 3/15/2014.
Website Design Project
Started design and development of RybakHomeInspections.com, a new Home Inspection company in Hopewell Junction, NY. The owner, Andrew Rybak, is the father of a childhood friend of mine. I wish him much success with his new Home Inspection business.
Promotional Web Video
Completed promotional video for NavigatorNewsletters.com, a Financial Newsletter firm located in Wappingers Falls, NY. The Navigator Newsletters team publishes four monthly newsletters for no-load mutual fund investors throughout the United States.
Email Marketing/Website Integration
Configured membership database of The Money Compass newsletter to synchronize with Constant Contact lists automatically. This will allow The Money Compass staff to market their customers based on their membership level. Finally, I also enabled WooCommerce on The Money Compass website so that Mark Anthony Grimaldi’s book, “The Money Compass: Where Your Money Went and How to Get It Back”
Office 365 / Exchange Online
Migrated a 16 user Law Office in Poughkeepsie to Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Plan 2.
Windows XP to Windows 7
Due to Microsoft ending support for Windows XP, it was necessary for us to upgrade three computers at an attorney’s office from Windows XP to Windows 7 Pro. In addition to the operating system upgrade, these three workstations were also configured to run Windows 7 Professional in 64-bit mode. All applicable software such as PCLaw, Microsoft Office, etc. were successfully installed. The migration was extremely smooth and now, their entire system is running Windows 7 Professional.
Voice Dictation Software
Installed Dragon Naturally Speaking 12 for an attorney in Poughkeepsie NY and provided the appropriate training. This attorney is finding this software extremely useful and has significantly improved his efficiency while composing documents for his clients.
Website Design Upgrade
Developed new demo website for St. Mary’s Church in Fishkill, NY. Website was designed and developed using WordPress. There current website is quite outdated and is also written mainly in HTML without a dynamic content management system.
