I like taking electronics apart. It’s challenging at times, but I typically keep the “never say die” attitude when attempting to bring back the life and functionality of such device.
Over the last couple of years, I’ve been very successful with laptop repairs. Early on in my career, when someone inquired on whether I repaired laptops, before my brain could formulate an answer, I would impulsively blurt out “NO!”. Times have changed and so has my ambition.
My latest IT surgical project was the replacement of an iPhone 5 screen/digitizer for one of my clients.
I purchased the replacement part from Amazon and within days, the part had arrived and the appointment was scheduled with the client. The client had previously explained that he attempted to have the screen replaced by Apple and Verizon, which both denied providing that service. No sweat off my brow – considering this type of job is right up my alley. And now you all know – I conduct this service.
