Some of my web design projects can often be challenging right out of the gate. In most cases, I am asked to design and develop website’s for local service-based businesses in the Hudson Valley, where the goal is to establish their presence on the web, be easily found on Google, and provide information about their product or services. Sure – I manage to add some flair and creativity in order to enhance the image of the business on the web, however, in most cases, conveying the information takes precedence.
In the case of Food-industry based websites, it is absolutely crucial to provide a design that best represents the quality of the Food served. This can be a daunting task. How do I possibly design a website as delicious as the food it serves?
Batter up……Woody’s Farm to Table, the Burger joint in Cornwall I discussed in my earlier blog entries (It’s Hip to be Square – Part 1 and Part 2). Woody’s can flip & prepare a burger better than most. The art is in the ingredients and the chefs & kitchen staff that work hard to prepare the meals. Woody’s Farm to Table uses only 100 percent all natural grass fed, grain finished ground beef that comes from a co-op of small farmers called Pineland Farms located in Maine. In fact, they work with local farms whenever possible for the produce and organic ingredients used in their food offerings. The result is beautiful and fresh.
Check out their complete menu here. Don’t forget to try their Famous Onion Hay and Fries (Local Potato Hand-Cut Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, and Tuscan Fries).
Visit Woody’s Farm to Table, located in Cornwall, NY (30 Quaker Avenue). For more information, visit www.woodysfarmtotable.com. The website can only convey so much. Come and experience Woody’s Farm to Table for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
